Samsung will launch the first smartphone based on the platform Bada, who will be capacitive touchscreen phone “Super AMOLED” with the type GT-S8500 Wave. Super AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-emitting diode) technology provides better brightness than the traditional AMOLED display, and provide a better display in the sun, according to Samsung. Samsung GT-S8500 Wave has a 3.3 inch screen size and resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.

Finally, Nokia launches touchscreen phone to rival Samsung Corby and LG Cookie. Nokia 5233 is claimed as the most expensive touchscreen device that can be bought in India. Not like Corby and Cookie, who use the operating system itself, but the Nokia 5233 smartphone using the Symbian S60 version 5.
