KT, the second largest mobile vendors in Korea, will release a new smartphone with Samsung Electronics at the end of this year. Smartphone is called Samsung SPH-M8400. The phone is very unique because it has a WiBro connectivity, WCDMA, and Wi-Fi. WiBro connection is a connection of South Korean version of WiMax.

Samsung SPH-M8400 is second smartphone WiBro after Samsung SCH-M8300, which had released to SK Telecom subscribers in the month of May. However, for the Samsung SCH-M8300 does not support Wi-Fi.
KT explained that this smartphone support for the use of wireless Internet, particularly in hotspot areas where mobile phones can access the Wi-Fi. KT also plans to expand the hotspot to support the use of the Internet with smartphone Samsung SPH-M8400. Furthermore, Samsung SPH-M8400 also features a VoIP to save the cost of phone calls to mobile users.
