Sony Ericsson has released the first Android phone, which represents the level of multimedia in open source platform from Google. The phone is named Xperia X10, which will be true entertainment device, equipped with a new application Timescape, where all communications with one person can be managed from one place. Communication such as through Facebook, Twitter, email and text can be united, and a smart key will help users to get to the connection.
Other applications such as Mediascape that allows content can be accessed from the phone, YouTube and other sources, Mediascape and Timescape will automatically detect the connection between the contacts, content and media. For example, face recognition can identify faces in a 5 photos and connect to the image in the contact. Mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 also has a 4-inch touchscreen display with 480×850 pixel resolution, a 8.1 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom and geo-tagging, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, the system Android, Google applications like Gmail, Calendar, Maps with Street View, Talk and Voice Search.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is still added GSM GRPS / EDGE and UMTS HSPA, can access the applications from the Android Market or Sony Ericsson’s Play Now Arena, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is 1GHz. According to Avi Greengar, an industry analyst firm Current Analysis, said that the X10 looks very good, but the phone problem is not be released until the first quarter of 2010.
