One of the most exposed Windows Mobile smart phones that splashed the market is HTC HD2. There are some things that boost the popularity of this new Windows Mobile smart phone. The fact that HTC HD2 is the most hacked gadget recently is one factor that make a lot of people noticed the existence of HTC HD2. There are also some interesting facts that make HTC HD2 popular such as the 1GHz Snapdragon processor along with 576 MB of RAM. But, the most exciting and interesting story recently is not about those specs, what make it becomes noticeable is the fact that HTC HD2 is capable of using Windows Phone 7.
Although Microsoft seems to be reluctant to bring this new Windows Mobile Operating system to HTC HD2, some developers didn’t stop to researching and trying to fit Windows Phone 7 with HTC HD2.
However, for those of you who want to upgrade the native Windows Mobile System to WP 7 or Windows Phone 7, you should modify the ROM to become custom ROM. The custom ROM should be able to support basic function of WP 7 and also sync some of the button functions because the buttons are different compared to Windows Phone 7 default button.

XDA Developers, which is famous for Windows Mobile and Android applications, now showing a most newer applications, named Gen.Y DualBoot.
Gen.Y DualBoot is a tool designed for Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 devices which can now allow a user to dual boot between Windows Mobile and Android, on the same phone. With the Gen.Y DualBoot application user can choose which operating system will be restarted. Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of mobile phones with Windows Mobile system version 6.5.3, called Aspen. Sony Ericsson Aspen cell phone has GreenHeart label, is the first Sony Ericsson mobile phones that use the Windows Mobile and has support with a full QWERTY keyboard in a non-mobile format slides. Handset Sony Ericsson Aspen has a design similar to Nokia E71 and all the popular BlackBerry models. Sony Ericsson aspen mobile phones is support for HSPA 900/2100 networks and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA, EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 also 850/900/2100, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS, plus Google Maps. Aspen phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera support 4x digital zoom and features like Multishot, Self timer and Smart contrast. In addition, also support 3D games, FM radio with RDS, 3.5mmjack, and 2.4 inches screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels, to display 65,536 colors.
